It was not a usual day for me as it was my birthday but this birthday was indeed the most different birthday of my life, no celebrations, no going out and just staying home like a normal day. I was not so happy about this but to my surprise in the eveing, my father took me to a separate room where they had done some decoration for my birthday. The cake was made at home and som other food stuff also. I was quite surpsied as no body told me anything and this moment really made my day

It was my birthday today and I woke up lazy because of the lockdown. I was sure there won't be any celebration as no visitors are allowed. I did not expect a cake as well since we do not eat out since the covid-19 spread. It is unsafe. My parents wished me and I prayed to God and carried on with the day as usual. I got a lot of Whatsapp wishes from my friends and relatives, but they did not lift my mood much. I was pretty disappointed. I had a nap in the afternoon and when I woke up the home was filled with the smell of baking. I rushed to the kitchen to find my mom had baked a lovely cake for me and did her best with decorating it. It was such a sweet thing to do. My parents handed me a surprise gift that they had delivered by Amazon. It was a couple of story books from my favorite author Sudha Murthy. Wow, what a birthday?! My parent's love for me made the day just perfect.
