Regional temperatures run higher compared to northern climes because the subtropics receive more direct sunlight, and there is little water available to temper its power. When humidity levels are relatively high, such as during the summer monsoon, temperatures often fluctuate less dramatically from day to night.

During monsoon the sky is totally covered by clouds.

They don't allow sun rays to enter Earth's atmosphere or reduce it.

Hence, the temperature too less, but we feel warm due to high humidity.
