The original price of jacket is Rs.3000

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the original price of jacket be x

Discount% = 30%

Cost after discount = x-30\%x

                                =x-\frac{30}{100}x

                                = \frac{70}{100}x

We are given that the reduced price of a jacket is rupees 2100

So,\frac{70}{100}x = 2100

x= \frac{2100 \times 100}{70}

x=3000

Hence The original price of jacket is Rs.3000
