DURING OSMOSIS FLOW OF WATER Through a semipermeable membrane IS FROM
1: Solution having lower concentration only
2:From solution having high concentration
3:From both sides of semipermeable membrane with equal flow rates
4: From both sides of semipermeable membrane with unequal flow rates
I think answer to be 1 but in the book it's given that answer is no.4 WHY?

Answer:
Yes, in process of osmosis, the density or concentration of fluids is not dependent.
Rather they depends on the pressure on either sides of a osmostic membrane.
