During photocatalysis for generation of hydrogen, by splitting of water, oxygen and hydrogen are formed in the same chamber, is it true or false?

No,Hydrogen and oxygen is formed in two different chamber in ratio of 2:1 . If it would form in same chamber then it would again form water or hydrogen peroxide or any other compound...

In traditional photo catalysts, the process is a little different, but using light to fall on photo catalysts is an efficient process.
Falling of light produces electrons and holes on the surface of catalysts. This electron reacts with water to reduce hydrogen ions, and thus hydrogen is formed. Photo catalysts can take place in the same chamber, true, more so if you use photo catalysts made up of mesocrystal.
