During photosynthesis plants take carbon dioxide and gives oxygen while during respiration the plants take oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. Photosynthesis usually takes place during day whereas respiration takes 24 hrs . Then, how does the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide remain constant?

1) light reaction processed in day time &

2) dark reaction processed in light less environment i.e. night

Also the 6 molecules of O2 is not utilised in plants this is very large amt.of O2
