I believe the answer is false.
During reverse bias i.e. when we connect the +ve terminal of the battery to the n-side and –ve terminal to the p-side, the electrons in n-side will get pulled from junction region to terminal region due to attraction towards +ve terminal of battery and similarly, holes in p-side will also move from junction to terminal region.
Hence, both p-side and n-side get affected by applying reverse bias to the pn junction diode.
