In severe flu and cough a person feel very lethargic and in severe cases it leads to high fever. The nose passage is linked to throat and ears.Thus when a person gets a flu or cough all three of them is effected. In case of flu or cough we feel pain in ears and also loss taste. This is because our nasal cavities get clogged leading to the severe blockage. Meanwhile, there is also loss of taste. Our taste buds which are present on the tongue are highly affected by this disturbance.
