During summer milk man adds small amount of baking soda in his milk because in summer lactobascillus Increases in the milk which converts into lactic acid this way the ph of the milk will rise and get expired very soon hence to neutralise the effect of lactic acid the base baking soda is added. It increases the validity of the milk
