During summers, why is it less troublesome to walk bare foot on mat or carpets as covering of heated floor?

because mats and carpets are made up of cloths or say fabrics and they are bad conductors or are insulators of heat they don't catch heat but the floor does. As the floor is hotter we feel burnt but if we walk barefoot on mat we won't feel burnt

Mats or carpets are insulator of heat and electricity. As well as their temperature is less as compared to the heated ground tiles.
