during the blood clotting mechanism prothrombin will be released when platelets gets exposed to air. True or false

yes it is true prothrombin helps to clotting of blood. when there is any injury occurs and platelets in the blood get explosed to air the inactive factors in the blood get activate and due to which prothrombin also get activate and clott the blood insuring that blood should not waist.
