Explanation:
Zamindars is known as land owner. They control over their peasants from whom they have right to collect tax. During the British rule the zamindars has the responsibility to deposit the money in state treasury bill so they make peasants to work hard to make more money. If zamindars are not able to collect more revenue then a new zamindars was chosen by British in his place and then they will have no home , no food and no shelter to live.
