From this table, it is clear that total students are 35.

Draw the above table in graphical format.

On X - Axis, weights and on Y Axis - number of students under that weight.

From the data we know that n = 35. To find mean draw a horizontal line at n/2 = 17.5.

This horizontal line go and cut the graph at a point.

Draw a vertical line from there onto X Axis. This will intersect the X axis at 46.5.

This is the median weight for the 35 students.
