Reuptake is the reabsorption of a neurotransmitter by a cell transporter which normally affect the cells which has once released hormone and has stopped the opposing its streamline opposing hormone category. It is located along the plasma membrane of an axon or glial cell after it has performed its function of transmitting a neuro impulse. For example The serotonin opposes the action of norepinephrine.
