Dear Diary:
I had a thrilling experience recently. My friend Vicky and I joined a flying club. The first flying experience was just fantastic. We flew in a hang-glider along with our instructor. We were taken up a mountain which had a steep slope. After harnessing ourselves into the hang-glider, we ran down the slope of the mountain, and within no time we were flying in the air. As the instructor glided us using the current of the wind, we felt like eagles. We could see the tiny objects on the ground. The stream looked like a silver ribbon; the houses looking like beautiful boxes set delicately on the green meadows. It was a memorable experience. I have just learnt the basics of flying. In the days to come I hope to glide a hang-glider first and then I will move onto bigger flying machines.
