Some of the issues are similar with the vedic age, while some dissimilarity can be seen also.In the modern era, men and women are given equal importance and in case of taking important decisions, the views of the women are also taken. In some parts of the world, women are still lacking behind men and they are ill treated as well.

Answer: We can observe some similarities between the Vedic and the modern age, which are the following:

1. Like the Vedic age, today's society is still patriarchal.

2. In the Vedic age, we can take an example of so many women scholars like Ghosha and Apala etc like as present age is also giving more emphasis on education quality to empower women.

In spite of these similarities, there are some differences in both the ages which can be proved by the following arguments:

1. In the Vedic age, the man was considered to be the head of the family whereas in the present time , anyone can be the head of the family.

2.At that time only high caste women were allowed to take the education but now there is the provision in the Constitution of the 'Right to education' for every citizen.
