Reverse transcription. The mRNA formed in transcription is transported out of the nucleus, in the cytoplasm and to the ribosome, it will be formed in the cell's protein synthesis factory as well as here, it directs protein synthesis.
Most importantly, messenger RNA is not directly involved in protein synthesis but the transfer RNA (tRNA) is required for this process.
