HLO..
HERE IS UR ANSWER..
In Leptotene :-Sub phase of prophase1 chromosome are seen clearly .
In eukaryotes there is more than one chromosome while in prokaryote there is only one chromosome.
Eukaryotes have well defined nucleus while prokaryote have not well defined nucleus.
HOPE IT'S HELP U..

during the cell division we can see chromosome while we can't see them in normal condition.
eukaryotic chromosomes
Eukaryotic cells, with their much larger genomes, have multiple, linear chromosomes. The length and linear nature of eukaryotic
chromosomes
During cell division, eukaryotic chromosomes condense into highly coiled 4 armed structures.
The tight coiling and high degree of organization in this supercoiled DNA facilitates proper segregation during mitosis and cell division.
prokaryotic chromosomes
The genome of prokaryotes is usually made up of one ''chromosome'' and plasmids. Eukaryota however, contain a larger number of chromosomes
Chromosome consists of double–stranded circular DNA.
Chromosome is stored in a special area called nucleoid.
The genome of prokaryotes is often significantly larger than the cell itself.
