During World War II, about 1.8% of US soldiers were killed directly in battle. This number went down to 0.5% at Vietnam War. What was this number in the Persian Gulf War?

Thanks for the question .
in total approximately about 700,000  US soldier took part. During this very low casualities  was faced by US soldiers as compared to other wars mentioned above , this war was quite an excellent display of large forces. There were about only 149 deaths of US soldiers.
so according to calculation the percentage is 0.002% hence this was the mortality rate in percentage.

Hope  this will  help  you.
