If your friend has asked you for help more than once, or even many times, then you should not help them because you’d only be doing harm in the long-run. In this case, giving them help is 1) teaching them to rely on others, 2) not teaching them to be prepared, and 3) setting them up for failure (if your help leads to them receiving good grades and getting accepted into college (where they won’t have your help anymore)).
