Dear Swati,
I hope this letter will find you in the best of your health and pinks of spirit. How your vacations are going? Hope you are enjoying them. If you ask me, I would like to tell you that, I travelled to Mumbai during these holidays. it is almost 30 hours journey from Kolkata and you pass through as many as 4 states, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Although, Kolkata and Mumbai both are situated near sea, there is lot of difference between both the cities. I could see many new things there. Most of the people talk in Marathi while the general language there is Hindi as people from various parts of the country reside in Mumbai. Mumbai is the city from where the fashion begins in India and hence you can see people wearing different types of trendy attire. There is a huge variety of food available there, but the most famous is the typical food of Maharashtra and sea food. The life of the people in the city is very fast and busy. The unique feature of India, unity in diversity can be experienced in Mumbai as people of different religions; different states and different background live there happily.
I would like to suggest you to visit Mumbai at least once. You will definitely
love the city.
Please reply once you get the letter and convey my warm regards to uncle and aunty.
Yours lovingly,
XYZ
