Duties of women

  • while most men were away at fighting most women of the third estate had to work for a living. They worked as seamstress, laudressers sold flowers fruits etc
  • They formed many political clubs like society of revolutionary and ruplican women
  • Women also looked after their families , cook food , fetch water
  • They were active participants in the revolution.
