1) Dynastic succession or hereditary in politics is one one the major challengefor the improper functioning of political parties in India.

2) Due to this,some people who do not have adequate experience or popular support come to occupy positions of power.This is also bad for democracy.

3) In many parties the top positions are always controlled by members of one family.This is unfair to other members of that party,they do not get any chance to rise to the top.
