Given:-

  • Length and breadth of rectangular field is 72m and 58m.
  • Aman walks a round it at the rate of 3 km per hour.

To Find:-

  • Time taken to complete 2 rounds.

Solution:-

We know that,

\large{\sf{\fbox{\green{Perimeter\:of\: rectangle=2(Length +Breadth)}}}}

Now, put the values

 \sf \implies \: perimeter = 2(72 + 58) \\  \\  \sf \implies \: perimeter = 2 \times 130 \\  \\  \sf \implies \: perimeter = 260m

Hence, Perimeter of rectangular field is 260m.

Distance covered by Amar in 1 round is equal to the perimeter of the rectangle.

 \sf \therefore \: 1 \: round \: covered \: by \: amar \: is = 260m \\  \\  \sf  \because \: 2 \: round \: covered \: by \: amar \: is \:  = 2 \times 260m = 520m

Also we have,

\large{\sf{\fbox{\green{Distance=Speed × Time}}}}

Speed of Amar = 3km/hr = 3× 1000/3600 m/s = 5/6m/s

Amar cover 5/6 meter in 1 second.

Therefore, He covers 520m in \sf{\frac{560}{{\frac{5}{6}}}} second.

  • 560 × 6/5 = 424 second = 424/60 minutes = 10.4minutes

Therefore, the total time Amar takes is 10.4 minutes.

Answer:

Total perimeter of rectangular field= 2(a+b)=2(72+58)=2*130=260m

Total distance in two round=2*260m= 520m

1 hour in 3 km

60 minut=3000mitre

Taken Time in 1 metre=60/3000 Minut

Total time covered in 520Metre=60*520/3000

=52/5

=10.2 minute
