e) A circus company runs four shows in a day at timings 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7p.m. The
total cost to run each show is 10,000. The total number of tickets sold at the rate of 7125 per
ticket for 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., are 55, 60, 80 and 110, respectively.
i. Find the profit or loss incurred by the company in a day. ii. If the number of tickets sold and the cost to run the show remains the same for a week calculate the total profit or loss incurred by the company for the respective week​

Taking cost of each ticket 7125.00

i) Total expenditure per day = 4 × 10000= 40000.00

Total income per day = (55+60+80+110) × 7125.00

= 2173125.00

Profit per day = (2173125.00-40000.00) = 2133125.00

ii) If no profit is gained for a week, then total loss for the respective week is = 7×2133125.00 = 14931875.00
