placed on the bridge A the rider only vibrates, while on placing the vibrating tuning fork Q
on the bridge A the rider flies away.Explain the difference.​

When the stem of tuning fork B is touched to the box, the natural frequency of vibration of wire matches the frequency of tuning fork and resonance takes place. Due to this resonance of vibration, amplitude of vibration of wire increases and the paper rider flies off.
