a) preparation of soil
b) seed selection and sowing
c)manuring
d) irrigation
e)weeding
f)protection from diseases
g) harvesting, threshing, winnowing

3. Weeds are he unwanted plants that grow along with the crops. Farmers remove them by spraying special chemicals called as herbicides or weedicides. They can also remove weeds using a sickle or by hand
