1) A constitution is a set of ideals on which a country is governed. The preamble to the Indian constitution truly justifies what we as Indian citizens, look towards and describe ourselves as a democratic republic nation

2) The constituent assembly worked hard for 3 years altogether to write down the Indian Constitution. While they were writing it, India was going through a really bad turmoil, namely the India-Pakistan partition, due to which thousands migrated to either of the countries, the kings were unaware of their future. All the members in the constituent assembly looked towards all walks of people's life while writing the constitution

3) he first words of the Preamble - "We, the people" - signifies that power is ultimately vested in the hands of the People of India.

A brief description of these concepts are as follows (in the order they come in Preamble)-

Sovereign- It means free to follow internal and external policies.

Secular- It means no particular religion is preferred.

Socialist- It means no concentration of power and money.

Democratic- It means rule by elected representative of the People of India.

Republic- It means no room for hereditary ruler or monarch.

Justice- It means an equitable and just society

Liberty- It means freedom to express.

Equality- It means all are equal before the law.

Fraternity- It means brotherhood among the people of India.

4) The Indian constitution tells us our fundamental nature of governance, protects us from misuse of power by those in power. It also protec ts us from the majority's tyranny, and helps us to make wiser decisions
