1) Lime water turns milky white when Carbon dioxide gas is passed through it. When we exhale, we exhale carbon dioxide gas, so when it reacts it turns milky white. Here is the equation for you information:

2) The frog dies when kept in a bell jar for long time as the frog inhales oxygen and inside the bell jar there would be no air so no oxygen. Without oxygen, organisms would not survive, so the frog dies.

4) Yes, air can be compressed, as air is made up of various gases, and gases are spread far apart from each other, and they can be compressed into solids or liquids.
