1. Studying history is important because it allows us to understand our past, which in turn allows us to understand our present. Studying history can provide us with insight into our cultures of origin as well as cultures with which we might be less familiar, thereby increasing cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
2.Archaeological sources are basically the material evidence like historical buildings, coins, inscriptions and other remains that gives important and detailed information pertaining to a particular period.It provides us with a more unbiased information.
One way archaeology helps us understand the past is through the material objects it finds, allowing us to know what was being used, and when.
3. Archaeology is the study of the human past using material remains. These remains can be any objects that people created, modified, or used. Portable remains are usually called artifacts.Archaeologists use artifacts and features to learn how people lived in specific times and places.
4. Literary sources are the data which is received in the written forms which describe the nature of the society of ancient times.
Secular literary sources focus of all topics where as religious literary source focuses on only there religion.
