ANSWER:
1.Vitamins are organic compounds your body needs to perform all of its essential functions - like growing tissues, regulating metabolism and maintaining a healthy immune system. Sometimes, the word ‘vitamins’ is also used as a colloquial reference to minerals, fatty acids, amino acids - and the 13 actual vitamins humans require, of course! So we’ll keep it inclusive with a list of vitamins and compounds your body needs.
2.The three major food groups are carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Not all of the three food groups are found in all foods and different people have different opinions about what proportion of each makes for a healthy diet. CARBOHYDRATES-Bread,Pasta,Potatoes,Corn.
PROTEINS-Eggs,Fish,Seafood
FAT-Cheese,Nuts,Dark chocolate,Olive oil.
3.FAT-For fats the test is simply to squash a sample of food onto a piece of paper and leave it to dry.
PROTIEN-Biuret solution is used to identify the presence of protein. Biuret reagent is a blue solution that, when it reacts with protein, will change color to pink-purple.
STRACH-Take small quantity of the food items to be tested.Put 2-3 drops of iodine solution on it.
Observe the colour of the food item.
Blue-black colour indicates the presence of starch in the tested food item.
