Explanation:

1-- Alaknanda and Bhagirathi are the two headstreams of the Ganga. They both meet to form the Ganga at Devprayag.

2-- The Indus originates from the Bokhar Chu (glacier) in northern slopes of Mt. Kailash (6714m). It drains the largest number of glaciers and mountain slopes of the Karakorum, Ladakh, Zaskarand Himalayan Ranges

3--- The Ganga river has two distributaries namely Bhagirathi and Hooghly.

4-- Jamuna (called by this name Bangladesh)

It flows southwest through the Assam Valley as Brahmaputra and south through Bangladesh as the Jamuna (not to be mistaken with Yamuna of India)

5-- Tributaries of Brahmaputra.

• left Side---- Lhasa River, Nyang River, Parlung Zangbo, Lohit River, Dhansiri River, Kolong River

• right side--- Kameng River, Manas River, Beki River, Raidak River, Jaldhaka River, Teesta River, Subansiri River.

hope this will help you.

Happy new year in advance.
