2) The ribcage is one of the body's best defenses against injury from impact which is made up of 12 ribs, so your lungs and other organs are also protected by ribcage.

➡ ️We need fresh oxygen to breathe. We have many small hairs in our nose which are called Nostrils. Our nostrils help in purification of air. These will not allow the dust to enter our lungs, this dust seperated by nostrils come out in the form of sneeze.

2.) Why are our lungs placed inside the ribcage?

➡️ Organs like lungs, heart, brain, etc. are very sensitive. Lungs are located near the ribcage because they need to be protected from any kinds of injuries inside the body.
