E-waste includes discarded electrical or electronic devices. It contains dangerous chemicals like cadmium, lead, mercury, beryllium and brominated flame retardants.
It cannot be disposed like kitchen waste because:
1. If it is not disposed properly these hazardous materials can pollute the air.
2. They can contaminate the soil.
3. They can enter the water sources.
4. They can have an adverse effect on human health.
