1) if the Apparatus is kept in dark no transpiration will take place therefore there will be no Movement in the air bubble

2) if the Apparatus is kept in sunlight the rate of transpiration is more therefore the air bubble will move further in the capillary showing the amount of water to transpired by the twig.

3) if the Apparatus is kept in front of the fan the rate of transpiration will be faster to the movement of air bubble will also be faster .
