Each bone in your back bone allows only slight movement how then are you able to bend your back so much to touch your toes

See if every bone allows a movement of 3degrees we have nearly 33 bones and most of them function unlike the tail bone. So if u calucate 33*3=99degrees which is huge

The structural composition of back bone allows us to bend, crouch, stand and lie down on the ground. The vertebral units promote this movement. If back bone is made up of one long bone then we would never be able to sit, crouch or lie. One single bone means no flexibility in the structure of a bone.
