first.. we know that
all sides are equal of square
Now,
let side of square be x
a/c to Pythagoras theorem
x2+x2=288cm
2x2=288
x2=144
x=12cm
so..
all sides of a square is 12

Answer:

Side = 203 . 64 cm or 144√2

Step-by-step explanation:

Each Diagonal = 288cm ( Given )

Which means That AC = 288 cm and BD = 288 cm ...

We know that, All side of a SQUARE are equal ( AB = BC = CD = DA )

According to P.T

a² + b² = c² ,

here A and B = 144 cm            ( 288cm / 2 = 144cm )

If we take mid point as O , then O = 90° ( right angle )

In triangle AOD ,

∠O = 90°

DO = AO = 144cm  ( legs of Triangle AOD )

So , 144² + 144² = AD²

20736 + 20736 = AD²

AD² = 41472

AD = √41472

AD = 203.64 ( approx ) or 144√2
