Answer:

Answer for X is 2.9miles

Step-by-step explanation:

No. of days=5

Distance covered in these five days=44miles

distance covered everyday=44/5

                                             =8.8miles per day

Distance from his home to school=1.5miles

Let the distance from his school to his aunts house is=X

                                 =1.5+1.5+x+x=8.8miles

                                 =3+2x=8.8miles

                                  =2x=8.8-3

                                  =2x=5.8

                                 =x=5.8/2

                                 =x=2.9miles

Hence the distance from his school to his aunts house is 2.9miles.

Hope it helps you.
