then equal sides = x+4 and x+4 .
perimeter = sum of sides .
x+x+4+x+4 = 62
3x + 8 = 62
3x = 54
x = 18 .
So base = 18cm.
equal sides = 18+4 = 22cm/

3x= 62-8
x= 54/3= 18cm
