Each of the equal sides of a triangle are 5 m less than two times the third side. Find the dimensions of the triangle, if its perimeter is 50 m​

first of all ,assume the third side be X . so according to question the other sides will be 2X-5.

as we know..the perimeter of any figure is the sum of all the sides.

hence

first side+second side+third side= perimeter

2X-5 + 2X-5 + X=50 (GIVEN)

5X=50+10

SO X=12

so the first side=second side=2X-5=19

third side=X=12
