Let the third angle be x

An equal angle will be x/2

Then, converting in the equation

x/2+x/2+x=180

(x+x+2x)/2=180

4x=360

x=360/4

x=90

Then the equal angles will be 90/2=45°.

Angles are 90°, 45,45

Question:

Each of the two equal angles of an isosceles triangle half the third angle. Find the angles of a triangle

Answer:

Equal angels  = 45°

And Third angle =90°

Explanation:

Let the equal angles of isosceles triangle be x

Since each of the two equal angles of an isosceles triangle are half the third angle.

∴Third angle will be 2x

By angle sum property

x+x+2x=180°

→ 4x=180°

→ x=\frac{180^{\circ}}{4}=45^\circ

∴Equal angels are x = 45°

And Third angle = 2x =2×45=90°
