Answer:

since each of the two angles are equal we can take both of them as x

now 3rd angle is twice so it can be taken as 2x

we know sum of all angles is 180 °

Step-by-step explanation:

x+x+2x=180

4x=180

x=180/4

x=45

so 1st and 2nd angle is 45°

3rd angle=2x=2 x 45=90°

Question:

Each of the two equal angles of an isosceles triangle half the third angle. Find the angles of a triangle

Answer:

Equal angels  = 45°

And Third angle =90°

Explanation:

Let the equal angles of isosceles triangle be x

Since each of the two equal angles of an isosceles triangle are half the third angle.

∴Third angle will be 2x

By angle sum property

x+x+2x=180°

→ 4x=180°

→ x=\frac{180^{\circ}}{4}=45^\circ

∴Equal angels are x = 45°

And Third angle = 2x =2×45=90°
