The triangle is mentioned to be right angled. Hence, the base and perpendicular or height of triangle will be 10 cm.

Base= BC  = 10 cm =b

Height= AB = 10 cm =h

Area of the triangle = 1/2 x b x h

                              =( 0.5 x 10 x 10) cm²

                               = 50 cm²

Hence the area of the isosceles right triangle is 50cm².

Ans:-  The area of the isosceles right triangle is 50cm².
