Each of the two equal sides of an isosceles triangle is three times as large as the third side if the perimeter of the triangle is ₹28 cm, find each side of the triangle​

ANSWER :

Sides are:-

4 cm, 12 cm, 12 cm

EXPLANATION :

Let the third side be x

Then the two equal sides = 3x

Perimeter = x + 3x +3x

28 = 7x

x = 28/7

x = 4 cm

Third side = 4 cm

Two equal sides are 3x = 12 cm
