Each of two equal sides of an isosceles triangle is 1 cm more than two times of third side. If perimeter of the triangle is 37 cm , find the length of sides of the triangle ?​

Answer:

let the third side be x

then equal sides equal to 2x+1

2(2x+1)+x= 37

4x+2+x=37

5x+2=37

5x=35

x=7

equal sides=17cm
