"Each One Plant One" Campaign
Date: 18 November 2023
By Ankita, Secretary of Armada Public School, Delhi
On 10th November, Armada Public School celebrated Vanmahotsava Day by organizing the "Each One Plant One" campaign. The campaign aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of trees in our lives and encourage them to plant more trees.
The campaign started with a short speech by the school's principal, followed by a tree plantation drive. Each student was asked to bring a sapling to school, and we planted these saplings on the school ground. The teachers guided the students on how to plant and care for the saplings. Apart from tree planting, various activities like poster making and slogan writing competitions related to the theme of the event were also organized. The winners were awarded prizes and certificates.
Overall, the campaign was a huge success, and all of us were able to plant many trees and educate the students about the importance of preserving our environment. We hope that this campaign will inspire our students to continue planting trees and contribute to a greener future.
