Comprise the "Central Highlands" (includes north of the river Narmada & covers a mjaor part of the "Malwa Plateau"), ad 'Deccan Plateau" (a triangular landmass) and "comprises the (Eastern Ghats & the Western Ghats, which "borders" the Deccan plateau), and Satpura mountain ranges (lies in the northern part of Deccan Plateau)
- Indian Desert: "Undulating sandy plains" encompassed with "sand dunes" on the "western fringes" of the "Aravali Hills" comprise the "Indian Desert".
- Coastal Plains: Lies on the "outer edges" of the "Indian peninsula" and encompasses the "shores" of the "Bay of Bengal"(east) & the "Arabian Sea" (west). West coast comprise the "Konkan Coast"- covers Goa & Maharashtra coasts, the "Kannada Plains" covering Karnataka coasts; & the "Malabar Coast" covering Kerala; and the Eastern coast include the "Northern Circar & the Coromandel Coast".
- Islands: Comprise the "Lakshadweep Islands" (near Malabar Coast), "Andaman & Nicobar Island" (off the Bay of Bengal, on the "Indian Ocean")
