Each side of a polygon of 'n' number of sides measures 36 cm. If its perimeter is 180 cm, find its area.

n=180/36
n=5
in square BCDE
each side is 36
so area is 36^2=1296
area of above equilateral triangle is √3/4*36*36 =324*√3
total area is 1296+324√3

n = 180/36

n = 5 = number of sides

area of pentagon = is complicated so if you draw something like this

in square BCDE

each side is 36 cm long

area of square - 36 x 36 = 1296

in triangle ABE all sides are equal

area of triangle = √3/4 x a²  ( a=side)

√3/4 x 36 ² = 561.184
