Ist rectangle
let the length be 4 cm and breadth 8cm
perimetre .=2(l+b )
= 2(4+8)cm
=2(12)
= 2× 12
=24 cm .
if the l and b iz doubled
perimetre =2( l+b)
2(8+16)
2(24)
2×24
48 cm
NOW ,
area of ist rectangle
l×b
4× 8 cm square
32 cm square
if l and breadth is doubled
8 × 16 cm square
104cm square .
ratio between perimetre of original rect... and resulting rect...
1:2
ratio between area of original rect...and resulting rect....
32:104
16: 54
8:27
