Given:-

Each side of rhombus = 10m

Diagonal of the rhombus = 16m

__________________________________________

Solution:-

For ∆ABC ,

s =  \frac{16 + 10 + 10}{2}  = 18m

Area of ∆ABC by Heron's Formula=

 \sqrt{18(18 - 10)(18 - 10)(18 - 16)}  \\  =  \sqrt{18 \times 8 \times 8 \times 2}  \\  = 48 {m}^{2}

_________________________________________

Area of the rhombus =

2 x Area od ∆ABC

= 2 x 48m²

= 96m²

Answer:

Rhombus

solve for area

A = 96m²

a Side

p Diagonal

using the formulas

A =pq upon 2

a = p²+q² upon 2

Solving for A

A = 1 upon 2p 4a²‐p²

=1 upon 2 point 16 point 4 point 10²‐16²=96m².

ans. 96m²
